I want to close out this week with the one thing I most want you to hear.
You are not broken.
Not because nothing is wrong. Something is wrong. Your body is responding to real imbalances with real symptoms and those symptoms are real and valid and worth taking seriously.
But broken implies unfixable. And that is not what this is.
The exhaustion that will not respond to rest. The hair that keeps changing. The mood that feels less stable than it used to. The weight that shifted and stayed. All of it is your body communicating something specific about what it needs. Not failing. Communicating.
Understanding the why is the first step to actually addressing it. And the why for most of the women I talk to comes back to the same place. Cortisol that has been running without proper support for too long. A gut-brain connection that is out of balance. Hormones that are shifting in ways that need active support rather than just patience.
If something I shared this week made you think that is me I want you to DM me. Not because I have a perfect solution waiting. Because I have been through a version of what you are going through and I want to help you figure out what your actual next step looks like.
Comment BALANCE and let's start that conversation 🌿
From personal experience, recognizing that persistent fatigue, fluctuating moods, and bodily changes are not signs of failure but messages from your body was a game-changer for me. I used to think that if rest didn’t work, something was permanently wrong. However, diving deeper into how cortisol levels affect stress and energy helped me understand my situation better. Cortisol, our primary stress hormone, when elevated for long periods, can disrupt sleep, digestion, and mood stability. Additionally, the gut-brain axis plays a critical role in overall well-being. Imbalances in gut health can lead to stubborn symptoms like brain fog and mood instability. I found that integrating a gut-friendly diet alongside stress management techniques significantly improved my symptoms. Hormonal shifts, especially in women, often require active support beyond just waiting for things to normalize. I learned the importance of addressing hormonal changes through lifestyle adjustments, proper nutrition, and sometimes professional guidance rather than just being patient and hoping things improve. If you’re experiencing similar struggles, remember that your body is trying to communicate, not failing. Taking the first step to understand these signals and seeking support—whether through community conversations or professional advice—can set you on a path to restoring your health. Don’t hesitate to reach out and start that important dialogue about balance; it can lead to meaningful change and empowerment.
