I talked myself out of it for a long time. I want to be honest about that because I think most people who are on the fence are doing the same thing I was doing and calling it being realistic.

Not enough time. That is the first thing I told myself. And it was partially true. But what I eventually realized is that I was not looking for time. I was looking for permission to use the time I already had differently.

Not the right moment. That one kept me stuck the longest. Because the right moment is a moving target and it has a way of staying just far enough ahead of you that you never quite catch it. The right moment is not coming. You have to decide the moment is right.

Not sure it would work for my situation. That one is fair. And the honest answer is that I did not know either until I actually had the conversation and got real information rather than making assumptions from the outside.

What finally got me to move was not a perfect plan or a sign that the timing was right. It was just deciding that staying exactly where I was was not working either. And that the only way to find out if something could work was to actually find out.

If you have been going back and forth on this for a while that feeling is not going to resolve itself on its own. It just keeps circling.

DM me TEAM and let's have an honest conversation about whether this actually makes sense for your life 🙌

... Read moreI completely relate to the feeling of hesitation when considering starting something new on the side. For me, the biggest barrier was convincing myself there wasn’t enough time, which really translated into hesitating to rearrange my priorities. Once I realized that it wasn’t about creating extra hours but using the existing ones differently, I started experimenting with small time blocks dedicated to my side hustle. Another thing I struggled with was waiting for the 'right moment.' It’s easy to get stuck in the trap of thinking everything has to be perfectly aligned before you start. From my own experience, there is no perfect moment—there’s only the moment you decide is right. Embracing that mindset helped me push through uncertainty and take actionable steps. I also had doubts about whether my situation was suitable for my goals. Initially, I assumed I needed everything figured out. But after talking to others and getting more information, I found that the reality was more flexible than I thought. You don’t have to have a flawless plan from the start; you just need readiness to adapt and learn. Staying stuck in indecision can feel like a constant loop, but when you decide that staying where you are isn’t working, it becomes a powerful motivator. Taking that first step to test the waters made a huge difference for me. Even if the outcome isn’t perfect, you gain clarity and momentum. If you’re on the fence, my advice is to be honest with yourself about what’s really holding you back and question whether those reasons are genuine barriers or comfort zones. Sometimes, all it takes is a conversation, some encouragement, and the courage to shift how you use your time. Remember, every successful journey starts with a single step, and waiting for permission or perfect timing might keep you waiting indefinitely. Deciding to try is already progress—and that decision could change everything.
