Fall bucket list for my toddler 🍂

My 4 year old girl loves all things Halloween and I’m excited to celebrate the season with her! We kicked off the season this weekend by taking her to the dollar tree to let her pick out a few spooky items so she could decorate her room - she was so proud of it!

Here’s a few things that we plan on doing over the next couple of months. I’d love to hear if there is anything that others do with their littles for Halloween. 🎃

Engaging in fall activities not only keeps your little ones entertained but also helps them learn about nature and traditions. Start by visiting a local pumpkin patch where your child can pick their own pumpkin to decorate. It's a wonderful way to encourage creativity and celebrate the harvest season. Consider hosting a trunk-or-treat event in your community. This fun twist on traditional trick-or-treating allows kids to safely enjoy Halloween from the comfort of parked cars. Don't forget to integrate Halloween-themed crafts, such as painting pumpkins or creating spooky decorations. Baking Halloween cupcakes or cookies as a family activity can also add that sweet touch to the season, while allowing your child to practice their baking skills. As leaves begin to fall, jumping into a pile of leaves becomes an exciting adventure. This activity promotes sensory play and can lead to endless giggles as they explore the outdoors. Additionally, creating a 'Boo Basket' filled with treats and a special Halloween book makes for a heartwarming surprise for your toddler. These enriching experiences will surely enhance your fall celebrations.
