As someone who is such a busy body, and so ambitious, always reaching to hit my next life goal, when I got pregnant this year my life came to a complete halt! 🛑 or so it felt!
Listen, being pregnant was nowhere near my “2024 vision board” 🤔 But God really showed up and said “hold the vision and trust the process” 🤣
Once I gave birth I immediately tried to hit the ground RUNNING 🏃🏾♀️ to accomplish the things I told myself I would this year. I said “I still have 3 months. I can do this”. 😤
So there I was beating myself up day after day, running myself into the ground trying to get this shit done. I quickly realized… the only shit I want to do is this MOMMY shit. 👩🏾 🍼
So I decided to just slow it down and live in this moment. And actually enjoy this new era of mine. An era that I’ve always wanted. And though the nights are verryyy long 😴 (like this post lol), the days are very short. And my daughter is growing up so fast right before my eyes! 😭 it hurts! 💔.
But all of that to say I am so proud of her. Every 👏🏾damn 👏🏾 day! And most importantly I am proud of MYSELF and proud to be her Motha! 💁🏾♀️ So, yea in 2024 I accomplished ALOT! And in 2025 I will do the same!!😘
