After an incredible trip, I'm so excited to finally share my ultimate Bermuda travel guide with you all! It was truly a 'POV: Our guide in Bermuda' experience, and I learned so much along the way. While rental cars aren't an option for tourists, scooters are incredibly popular. I was a bit nervous about 'PROBANDO' (trying out) riding one at first, but it quickly became my favorite way to explore the island's winding roads and discover hidden coves. Just remember to drive on the left! If scooters aren't your thing, the public bus system is fantastic and surprisingly efficient, covering most major attractions. Taxis are also readily available, though they can add up quickly. Now, for the must-see spots! Horseshoe Bay Beach is, without a doubt, a showstopper. The pink sand truly lives up to its hype, and the rock formations create stunning little coves perfect for exploring. I spent hours just soaking up the sun and swimming in the calm, clear waters. For a dose of history, don't miss the historic Town of St. George, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walking through its cobblestone streets felt like stepping back in time. I also highly recommend a visit to the Crystal Caves, an absolutely breathtaking underground wonder with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. It’s a completely different side of Bermuda to explore! When it comes to food, Bermuda has some delightful treats. You absolutely have to try a traditional fish sandwich – I had mine at the Swizzle Inn and it was divine. And of course, no trip to Bermuda is complete without trying a Rum Swizzle or a Dark 'n Stormy. I made sure to 'PROBANDO' as many local eateries as I could, and found that fresh seafood is always a winner. A few practical tips for your trip: The best time to visit Bermuda is typically from May to October when the weather is warm and sunny, perfect for beach activities. The currency is the Bermudian dollar, which is pegged to the US dollar, so US currency is accepted everywhere at par. Don't forget to pack plenty of reef-safe sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and comfortable walking shoes. And most importantly, embrace the relaxed pace of island life!
