Week 1 Update – Mr. London Challenge

Days 2 & 3: These days were probably the hardest. My body was feeling it! I was so sore all over. 😅 Especially my thighs and abs.

Day 4: I woke up sore but it went away as my day went on. The workouts also began to feel a lot easier on this day. It felt easier to keep a good workout form and I was able to do the exercises without as many pauses in between.

Day 5: I am starting to notice the changes on my body! 🤩 My tummy, my face and my thighs are all starting to look slightly slimmer. Enough for me to notice and it’s for sure enough to motivate to pushing forward to the end of the two weeks. 😆

Difficulty: 🔥🔥

7.8/10

Overall Thoughts: 💭

Mr. London definitely knew what he was doing when he put together this challenge. Whether you’re a beginner or getting back into working out after a break, this routine was the perfect amount of challenge and motivation; Hard enough to make me sweat and see results in just 7 days. 🔥💦

Easy enough to keep me coming back for more! 😂😅

It also helped that he had great music playing in the background! 🎶

I’m pumped to begin Week 2’s video and even more excited to complete the full challenge!🔥

... Read moreAfter sharing my initial Week 1 update for the Mr. London Challenge, I've had so many questions about what it's really like, especially for beginners. This challenge, often known as the 'Fupa Be Gone In 14 Days' workout, truly lives up to its name in terms of targeting your core and helping reduce that lower belly pooch. When I started this beginner ab challenge, I honestly wasn't sure what to expect beyond the initial soreness, but having completed the first week, I feel like I've gained some valuable insights I wish I knew from day one! One of the best pieces of advice I can give, especially if you're new to working out or getting back into it, is to listen to your body. Mr. London's workouts are designed to be effective, but that doesn't mean you have to push through excruciating pain. The first two days were definitely the toughest for me. My thighs and abs were screaming! I found that taking slightly longer breaks between sets when needed, or even modifying a few moves to a less intense version, really helped me stay consistent without feeling defeated. Remember, consistency beats intensity, especially when building a new habit. Another thing that really helped me track progress, even before the visual changes became obvious, was using a simple weekly tracker. The image thumbnail mentioned a 'weekly tracker' and I actually used something similar. It wasn't just about weight for me; I focused on how many reps I could do, how long I could hold a plank, or if I could complete the workout without as many pauses. The original article already touched on how the workouts felt easier by Day 4, and tracking these small victories kept me incredibly motivated. A great idea is to take your measurements, especially around your waist, at the start. The image thumbnail shows a woman 'measuring her waist', which is a fantastic visual reminder of what you're working towards. Sometimes the scale doesn't move, but inches do! Hydration and nutrition also play a huge role. While Mr. London provides the workout plan, what you put into your body fuels your results. I tried to increase my water intake significantly and made small, sustainable changes to my diet, like opting for more whole foods and fewer processed snacks. It wasn't about drastic dieting but supporting my body through these intense 'Fupa Be Gone' sessions. These small habits, combined with the consistent 'beginner workout' routine, truly amplified the changes I started seeing by Day 5. For anyone considering this 'Mr. London Fupa Challenge' or any similar 'beginner 30 day fupa challenge', my biggest takeaway from Week 1 is that it's absolutely doable, even if you feel like you're starting from scratch. The energy Mr. London brings, along with his choice of music (as I mentioned in my main post!), makes the workouts surprisingly enjoyable. Don't be discouraged by the initial soreness; it's a sign your muscles are adapting. Focus on showing up each day, celebrating small improvements, and remembering your 'why'. I'm genuinely excited to see what Week 2 brings and will definitely keep you updated on my journey to a more toned body!
