Greetings Commissioner @NYPDPC people I know have been stealing money with the NYPD, running kick back scams with the NYPD, and paying the NYPD and their civilian lie and scam team to harass people including me for no reason besides they don't like us. NYPD IA, CCRB, DOI, etc., haven't helped at all. I'm about to pro se sue the NYPD although as everyone knows that takes months/years. I've already filed several Notice of Claims with the NYC Comptroller's office. If you have any recommendations regarding how I can get the NYPD and their civilian lie and scam team to stop harassing me please let me know. Thank you and have a great day. Mark Pine

In many jurisdictions, people have found success documenting incidents meticulously and gathering evidence, including witness statements and video recordings. Engaging with advocacy groups or legal aid organizations can provide additional support and resources. Several communities have established grassroots movements to raise awareness about police misconduct, which can often amplify the voices of individuals affected by such behaviors. If considering a pro se lawsuit, understanding the legal process is crucial. It may be beneficial to research similar cases or seek pro bono legal advice to navigate the complexities of the law. Additionally, filing complaints with oversight bodies like the Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB) can create pressure on the department to address underlying issues. Documenting incidents thoroughly not only aids in personal cases but can also contribute to larger statistical analyses, highlighting patterns of misconduct that demand systemic change.
