Round 1 Date @ Quail Springs Mall - OKC, OK!
Boyfriend & I went to OKC for a car meet a month or so ago, and while there we hit up the Quail Springs Mall for this AWESOME arcade they have there!
Round 1!
This arcade has games straight from Japan! 😍🇯🇵
Boyfriend and I have ALWAYS wanted to visit Japan, (I've been learning the language for several years now) so we were in awe of all the awesome games they had!
We ended up doing an hour of unlimited play and proceeded to beat the Halo game they had, and then got pretty far into Time Crisis 5 before our time ran out.
It was so much fun! Took me back to the good old days of just hanging at the arcade with friends! (I miss Fun & Games! local arcade in Tulsa that is no more)
Can't wait to go back, and to throw Clover's future birthday parties there!! Speaking of my sweet baby girl to be, we saw this cute lil frog holding a 4-leaf clover in one of the claw machines! 🥹😍🍀
The only "bad" part of the night was when it ended!.. my ankles were so swollen that I actually looked forward to the 2hr car ride home! 🤣😭

Visiting Round1 Arcade at Quail Springs Mall in Oklahoma City truly felt like stepping into an arcade straight out of Japan! For anyone looking for a unique and incredibly fun outing, especially if you're a gamer or a couple searching for an exciting date idea, this place is a must-visit. My partner and I were completely blown away by the selection of games they had, many of which are rarely seen in typical American arcades. One of the absolute highlights for me was seeing games like DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) and GITADORA. As a huge fan of rhythm games, finding a DDR machine, especially one that felt authentically Japanese, was a dream come true! I spent ages on it, just like in the good old days. The GITADORA drum game was also fantastic; it's always a treat to find such specialized rhythm games that offer a different kind of challenge. These aren't just your average arcade games; they often feature Japanese music and a distinct style that adds to the immersive experience. It's awesome to know you can get that 'straight from Japan' vibe right here in OKC. Beyond the unique Japanese rhythm games, Round1 offers a wide array of other attractions. While our focus was mainly on the arcade, many locations, including Quail Springs, also boast bowling alleys, karaoke rooms, and various crane and claw machines. We definitely got caught up in the excitement of the claw machines, trying to win some adorable prizes. I even spotted a super cute froggy holding a four-leaf clover, which was just irresistible! It’s a great way to wind down after some intense gaming, or to try and take home a souvenir from your fun day out. If you're planning a visit, I'd highly recommend checking out their different offerings beyond just the video games. For a smooth and enjoyable experience, consider a few tips. We opted for an hour of unlimited play, which was a fantastic value and allowed us to try so many different games without worrying about tokens. It’s perfect for couples or groups who want to explore everything. Weekday evenings might be less crowded than weekends if you’re looking to maximize your game time. Also, don't forget to wear comfy shoes, especially if you're planning on hitting up DDR or doing a lot of walking around! The mall itself offers other amenities, so you can easily make a whole day or evening out of your visit, perhaps grabbing a bite to eat before or after your arcade adventure. Round1 at Quail Springs Mall truly offers a memorable and action-packed experience for all types of gamers and fun-seekers.
