From the boardroom to the classroom ✌🏾👋🏾

In a month, I'll be starting an exciting new chapter as a first-year, high school CTE Business Education teacher at a new charter school, and I couldn't be more excited!

As I'm building my classroom from the ground up, I'm starting with very little. My goal is to create a space that's engaging, welcoming, and inspiring, where students can build confidence, develop career skills, and discover their potential.

If you're able to help, I've created an Amazon Classroom Wishlist with supplies that will directly impact my students. Every item makes a difference.

If you're unable to donate, I completely understand. Sharing this post would mean just as much and would help me reach others who may be able to support.

Thank you for helping me invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders. ❤️

When I first decided to transition from the corporate world to teaching CTE Business Education, I knew that creating a welcoming and resource-rich environment was essential for student success. Without many supplies initially, I realized the power of community support, which led me to curate an Amazon Classroom Wishlist filled with practical items to help students learn, create, and succeed. From personal experience, investing in quality materials like projectors, business simulation games, and organizational tools can make lessons more interactive and engaging. It’s amazing how simple tools can boost students’ confidence and foster critical thinking about real-world business scenarios. This support not only empowers the students but also motivates me as an educator to continue innovating in the classroom. Furthermore, sharing such initiatives on social media platforms can tremendously increase visibility and attract donations or partnerships from like-minded individuals passionate about education. For anyone considering a similar path, connecting with local businesses or alumni networks can also provide opportunities for mentorship and resources, enriching the educational experience beyond textbooks. Ultimately, my goal is to prepare students to become tomorrow’s leaders and entrepreneurs by cultivating an environment where they feel inspired and supported every day. Every small contribution counts, and whether it’s through donating supplies or simply sharing the message, we can collectively make a big difference in shaping the future.
