Okay, fellow music lovers, can we just talk about how much fun Spotify Wrapped is every year? I've been waiting for my 2025 recap, and it just dropped! Seeing all my listening habits laid out like this is always a mix of 'oh wow, really?' and 'yep, that sounds about right.' This year, my results were a total celebration of emo and rock, headlined by my absolute favorite band, Set It Off. My 'Spotify Wrapped Top Artists screen' was no surprise – Set It Off crowned the list for the third year running! I spent a whopping 14,071 minutes with them. 'Falling In Reverse' was right up there too, alongside legends like 'Linkin Park' and 'Three Days Grace,' plus 'Weathers'. When it came to 'My Top Album,' it was hands down 'Duality by Set It Off,' with an insane 1,921 minutes listened. Seriously, if you haven't given 'Duality' a full listen, you're missing out. The album art alone is iconic! And my top song, 'Ancient History,' also by Set It Off, got 133 streams. Other Set It Off bangers like 'Fake Ass Friends,' 'Parasite,' 'Evil People,' and 'Win Win' also made my top five. It really shows how deeply I dove into their discography this year. Looking at my 'Spotify Wrapped minutes listened screen,' my total listening time hit an impressive 71,658 minutes! That's almost 50 days of music. It’s wild to see that number, and it truly reflects how much music is a part of my daily life. From waking up to winding down, Spotify is always on. I definitely make good use of my premium subscription! Beyond 'Duality,' I also spent a lot of time with Set It Off's other incredible albums like 'Elsewhere,' 'Midnight,' 'Cinematics (Expanded Edition),' and 'Upside Down.' 'Elsewhere' is such a standout for me, and I often found myself just vibing to the whole album. Each album cover tells a story, and I love how Spotify compiles them all. This year, for me, it was all about Set It Off's consistent excellence. I love seeing the vibrant 'pink text overlay' on my Wrapped screens; it makes everything feel so celebratory.
