Is anyone else obsessed with WOF

I read half of it as a kid and just re listened to the whole series on audiobooks. I just finished book 15 and started on dragonslayer. I’m excited for arc 4 with book 16 coming out soon. I know it’s technically a book series aimed at middle schoolers but I’m 23 but it’s actually so good. So if you’re into fantasy and cool dragons and also friendship and magic it would be a good series for you too. ALSO drop some book recommendations in the comments yall cause I always need more books to read

... Read moreOkay, so I absolutely have to talk more about my current obsession: the Wings of Fire Legends series, especially Dragonslayer! After devouring the main 15 books, diving into the Dragonslayer audiobook felt like coming home. Seriously, if you haven't experienced the world of Pyrrhia through audio, you're missing out. The narration by Shannon McManus is just phenomenal – she brings every character to life, from the fierce dragons to the unexpected human perspectives. It’s like the story is unfolding right in front of you. I was so captivated by the story of Wren and Sky. It’s such a unique take on the dragon-human relationship, offering a fresh lens on the world Tui T. Sutherland has so masterfully built. Seeing the Dragonslayer cover artwork pop up on my screen, with that magnificent yellow dragon and the human characters, always gets me excited to jump back into Chapter 5, or wherever I left off. The detail in the Wings of Fire audiobook cover designs is always top-notch, perfectly illustrating the magic within. It's truly a standout Wings of Fire book Legends offering, adding so much richness to the overall lore. One thing I constantly think about when reading or listening to the series is how deeply developed the characters are. Even though they're dragons, their personalities, struggles, and triumphs feel incredibly human. Sometimes I even imagine what the Wings of Fire characters as humans would look like, trying to capture their essences in a different form, though their dragon forms are already so expressive! It’s a testament to Tui T. Sutherland’s writing that these fantastical creatures resonate so strongly on an emotional level. The themes of friendship, loyalty, and finding your place are universal, regardless of whether you have scales or skin! The Wings of Fire Legends series adds such incredible depth to the main storyline. It's not just side stories; these books fill in crucial historical gaps and provide context that enriches the entire WOF universe. For anyone wondering about the Wings of Fire audiobook experience, I highly recommend it for long drives or just relaxing at home. The production quality is always superb, making it easy to get lost in the story for hours. I truly believe if you're into fantasy, cool dragons, and stories that emphasize friendship and magic, you absolutely need to pick up *Wings of Fire*. Whether you start with the main series or jump into a Legends book like Dragonslayer, you're in for a treat. Tui T. Sutherland has created a world that's both vast and intimate, with characters you genuinely root for. I'm constantly recommending it to friends, regardless of age, because the storytelling is just that compelling. I can’t wait for Arc 4 and book 16! It's so exciting to know there's more to come from this incredible series. What other fantasy series have you all been loving lately that have similar vibes? I'm always on the hunt for my next epic read!
