Focusing On Comfort

When we focus on our past, especially our past failures, we lose the ability to envision our future. When we lose that ability to see our future, many times we end up focusing on comfort.

The constant pain of living from our past failures drives us to distract ourselves with things that make us feel good for a short period of time. But we never find fulfillment in those experiences, and they leave us feeling empty.
