new glasshouse style cafe in town!
finally back to reviewing matchas!
Bloom & Boom is a new cafe/bar in town that’s been all the rave lately! I went during their afternoon tea hours — they serve a regular matcha latte and strawberry matcha, both made with Isuzu matcha by Marukyu Koyamaen.
their matcha latte is on the thinner side – mellow in taste and slightly floral, but not overpowered by the milk. I usually prefer stronger matchas, but this was surprisingly enjoyable and made a nice midday refresher without being too caffeinated.
while I probably wouldn't come back specifically for matcha, it's overall still a pretty decent basic! plus points for the vibes and drink presentation – simple yet so pretty 💐
