6 MONEY LIES I WISHED I KNEW SOONER ✨
I grew up believing all the lies about money… now that I finally understood how money "works." I could maybe share some with you guys...
These are the 6 money lies that honestly kept me stuck for way too long—and what I’ve learned since. 💸💸
Life taught me differently.
Money doesn’t guarantee happiness—but it gives you freedom to create it. Love is powerful—but it doesn’t pay the bills. The truth?
I have to be open-minded about every opportunity that comes my way, whether it’s learning a new skill, starting a side hustle, or investing at any age. Investing isn’t just for the young or the rich—it’s for everyone who wants control of their future.
I stopped believing the stories that I was told and chose to create the stories that I believe in. Grow, adapt, and let money be the tool, not the enemy. ❤️✨
How about you, what were your money lies?

Reflecting on my own journey, I realized that these 6 money lies not only limit our finances but also affect how we relate to life and opportunities. For example, the belief that "money can't buy happiness" is true in that money alone doesn't guarantee joy, but money provides vital freedom—time with family, less stress, and access to better healthcare—that forms the foundation for a happier life. I also used to think hard work alone would guarantee success. However, simply working overtime isn't enough. What changed the game for me was learning to negotiate, building versatile skills, and being open to new roles or side hustles. These strategies can accelerate growth in income and career satisfaction. Another eye-opener was the myth "love conquers all." Love is essential, but money matters deeply in planning life milestones like weddings, buying a home, or raising kids. Open conversations about finances with your partner can prevent stress and resentment. When it comes to investing, I believed it was exclusive to the wealthy or the young. Starting small and being consistent can build wealth over time, no matter your age or salary. Even starting in your 50s can be impactful if you take action now. It's never too late to gain control of your financial future. Lastly, realizing that wealth isn’t just about a fixed income was liberating. Picking up new skills—whether video editing, fitness training, or other passions—can create multiple income streams and give you a fulfilling, flexible way to grow financially. By unlearning these lies and adopting a growth mindset, money becomes a tool that empowers rather than enslaves. This transformation takes patience and choice, but the freedom and peace it brings are well worth the effort.
