The other evening, I put together this gorgeous plate – a beautifully hot smoked mackerel, sliced perfectly, resting on a rustic wooden board. It just looks so inviting, especially with those vibrant lemon wedges, thinly sliced red onion, and some fresh green leaves adding a pop of color. I paired it with simple boiled potatoes, which are the perfect humble accompaniment to let the rich, smoky flavor of the fish shine through. It truly was 'Worth it?' as the picture asks – a resounding YES from me!
