secret's out girlies, go read my blog if you were told it's just your hormones
Sharing my personal weight loss journey has been a revealing experience. Many people, including myself, were initially led to believe that hormones were the sole culprit behind weight struggles. However, my journey taught me that while hormones can impact weight, they are only part of a much bigger picture. Starting at 200 lbs, I faced the mental challenge of wondering if I would ever lose weight. This was my breaking point, a time where I had to confront not just physical challenges but also emotional and psychological barriers. The scale gradually moved from 200 to 190, then to 170, and eventually down to 140 lbs. Each milestone represented not just a physical achievement but also a victory over self-doubt and limiting beliefs. What helped the most was shifting my mindset from blaming hormones or external factors toward taking actionable steps—consistent exercise, mindful eating, and patience. I learned the importance of setting realistic goals and celebrating small wins, which kept me motivated on this long road. For anyone feeling stuck or told that their hormones are solely to blame, I want to encourage you to explore all aspects of your lifestyle and mindset. Weight loss is often more complex than just biology; it involves emotional resilience, habits, and persistence. My blog delves deeper into these experiences and useful tips that helped me overcome my breaking points and achieve lasting change.
