Have you been to more cities than me?

Now as someone who doesn’t do a lot of domestic travel I have seen a lot of this country. I will admit a lot of it is because I have driven across the country and I grew up in a road trip family. You know one of those families that thinks nothing of a 14 hour car ride just to have the convenience of their own car with them, well yeah that’s my family. I haven’t traveled as much domestically as an adult but it still counts if my parents paid for the trip when I was twelve right?

There are two cities on this list that do hold a special place in my heart. The first one is Los Angeles it was my first home as an adult. I loved it there deeply. It’s not always the easiest city to visit as a tourist because some of the best areas are kind of hard to find and you really have to know but my absolute favorite thing about Los Angeles is that its beach season all year round! My dog grew up at the beach and we literally would walk to grab coffee and breakfast burritos daily. I personally think Manhattan Beach is the prettiest and cleanest so if you can I’d go there but truly any of the beaches in the South Bay are amazing.

My second favorite city actually took me a long time to admit that I loved it and it’s currently my home. If you didn’t know I live in Boston. It’s a city that grows on you and is not for everyone. It’s made up of people who hate NYC and really like owning a car. I think a lot of people who live once thought about living in Manhattan and realized they needed something a little smaller so they ended up in Boston. It’s actually a city made up of mostly people from the area. My favorite thing about the city is that you get all four seasons and well you have the most adorable cobblestone streets. I particularly love how close we are to the water and that I can wander around the North End and pretend I’m in Europe. If you do go to Boston you must get pizza. I’d recommend Florenios not too far from the Financial District and Beacon Hill. Anyways let me know which cities you have been and play along. Oh and don’t forget the Challenge is live until December 13 and you can win a $30 Amazon gift card just by playing. #citybingo #lemon8partner #lemon8challenge #lemon8creator #domestictravels

... Read moreOkay, so you've experienced the laid-back, sun-drenched vibes of Manhattan Beach and you're wondering what's next in the sprawling landscape of Los Angeles? For me, the adventure often continues from the serene shoreline to the bustling heart of West Hollywood. It's a journey that truly showcases the incredible diversity of LA. While Manhattan Beach is all about those morning beach walks, breakfast burritos, and endless ocean views, WeHo offers a completely different, vibrant energy. Making the trip from Manhattan Beach to West Hollywood usually involves navigating the infamous LA traffic, but trust me, it’s worth it. I typically hop onto the 405 North, then merge onto Santa Monica Boulevard or Sunset Boulevard, which takes you right into the thick of it. What I love about WeHo is its incredible array of trendy boutiques, art galleries, and some of the best restaurants and nightlife spots in the city. It’s a fantastic place for people-watching, whether you’re strolling down Melrose Avenue looking for unique finds or enjoying a chic brunch. It feels like stepping into a different world entirely after the chilled-out beach scene, embodying another side of LA’s glamorous spirit. If you're looking to contrast your beach relaxation with some urban buzz, this route is a must-try. And speaking of vibrant city experiences, let's talk about Boston, a city that, for me, feels like it's drawn in bright, colorful bubble letters – just like the image you might have seen! It's not just the historic brick buildings; there's a playful, energetic pulse that runs through it. Beyond the serious history, Boston's neighborhoods each have their own distinct 'bubble' of charm. Take the North End, for instance. It's a culinary dream, a maze of narrow streets where every corner promises authentic Italian food, from the freshest pasta to cannoli that melt in your mouth. Wandering there, it's easy to forget you're in America and imagine yourself in a charming European village. Then there’s Beacon Hill, with its iconic cobblestone streets and gas lamps, which feels straight out of a storybook. It’s incredibly picturesque, especially during the fall when the leaves change, or in winter when a fresh blanket of snow makes everything sparkle. The city truly embraces all four seasons, offering a different backdrop and set of activities throughout the year. From the lively atmosphere around Fenway Park on game day to the peaceful strolls along the Charles River, Boston constantly offers new discoveries. The modern and older buildings of the city skyline, as captured in the picture, perfectly encapsulate this blend of history and contemporary vibrancy. It's a city that keeps on giving, making you fall deeper in love with its unique character with every visit.
