I COMPLETED 75 HARD AND DIDN'T TELL YOU ABOUT IT

75 days, 150 workouts, 12 lbs lost...

i've been kind of emotional about this challenge coming to an end, so it's taken me a while to make this post. this challenge was the most challenging and humbling journey I've ever been on - but it's also helped me redefine what my priorities are. i'm so thankful for everyone who cheered me on through this journey!! i was super hesitant to post my first and last progress photos because obviously the goal wasn't to lose weight, but it is a VERY welcomed result.. the difference between day 1 and day 75 aren't complete opposites, but I've not only completed a challenge but established a lifestyle 🤍 cheers to the last 75 days 🥂

... Read moreI know I kept it quiet while I was doing it, but finally, I can share my full, honest 75 Hard Challenge recap! This journey was truly an emotional rollercoaster, and finishing it felt surreal. For 75 days straight, I committed to a strict set of rules – two 45-minute workouts daily (one outdoors, no matter what!), a gallon of water, a specific diet with no cheat meals or alcohol, reading 10 pages of a non-fiction book, and taking a progress picture every day. It sounds intense, and trust me, it was. The biggest hurdle wasn't just the physical demand of 150 workouts; it was the unyielding mental discipline required. There were days when the weather was terrible, and dragging myself out for that outdoor workout felt impossible. Other times, resisting social temptations like a casual drink or a dessert was a real test of willpower. But each time I pushed through, I felt a surge of accomplishment that built a new level of confidence within me. It wasn't about perfection, but about showing up, even when I didn't want to. That's where the humbling lessons came in – realizing how much I'd let comfort dictate my choices before. Beyond the noticeable change of losing 12 lbs, this challenge fundamentally redefined my priorities. My mornings became dedicated to self-care and exercise, setting a positive tone for the entire day. I learned to plan my meals meticulously, ensuring I was fueling my body properly. The daily reading habit exposed me to new ideas and sharpened my focus. This wasn't just a 75-day diet; it was a complete overhaul of my daily habits, shifting my focus from instant gratification to long-term well-being. One of the hardest parts, as mentioned, was even considering sharing my progress photos. It felt vulnerable, but looking back at that side-by-side comparison from Day 1 to Day 75, I'm so glad I did. The visual transformation, from that initial mirror selfie in the gym locker room to my final progress shot, tells a powerful story of dedication. It's more than just the physical changes; it's seeing the determination in my eyes grow. For anyone thinking about starting, especially if you're looking for '75 Hard for beginners' advice, my top tip is to prepare mentally. Understand that it's a mental game as much as a physical one. Plan your workouts, your meals, and anticipate challenges. Now that the 75 days are over, the goal isn't to go back to old habits. This challenge truly helped me establish a sustainable, healthier lifestyle. I continue to prioritize my workouts, make conscious food choices, and nurture my mind. It showed me what I'm truly capable of when I commit. If you're on the fence, consider your '75 hard journey' not just as a fitness challenge, but as an opportunity for profound personal growth. It's tough, but the rewards are immeasurable – not just in pounds lost, but in the strength, clarity, and discipline you gain.
