Asked my friends what reminds them of me…❤️
Whenever I ask my friends what reminds them of me, the answers always feel so personal and reflective of the little quirks and joys that make up who I am. Some mention shows like Gilmore Girls, which perfectly captures the warmth and witty banter we often share. Others bring up Alanis Morissette—her soulful, emotional music somehow echoes moments we've experienced together. CapCut videos came up too, which is quite amusing because it reminds me of how we love to create short, fun media clips to document our lives and special moments. As for Disney, it symbolizes the imaginative and joyful side of our friendships, full of color, laughter, and those magical experiences that feel timeless. Interestingly, some friends mentioned things like shopping and candy, which reflects the simple pleasures we enjoy when hanging out—sweet treats and finding fun in everyday outings. Then there’s the surprise mention of murder mysteries, which speaks to our shared love for puzzles, storytelling, and the thrill of uncovering clues. Other little reminders like books and nails represent habits and style choices that stand out to friends—proof that it's the small details they notice that shape their memory of me. Laughter, smiles, and cheerfulness underline the positive and uplifting atmosphere I try to bring to our social circle. Finally, things like Diet Coke, track and field throwing events, choir, and husbands are unexpected but delightful associations that remind me how varied and rich the facets of my personality and life are in the eyes of those around me. This simple exercise of asking friends what reminds them of me has been a touching journey, showing me how shared experiences and interests weave together to form meaningful connections. It’s a beautiful reminder that friendship is built on unique, sometimes quirky, but always heartfelt memories.
