🤎PQ4R Method: this is an acronym for Preview, Question, Read, reflect, recite, and Review. This is one of the best study methods out there as it has a lot of active learning. Preview the concepts that you are going to learn, formulate questions like what you may know about the concept and what you don't know, read one section at a time while trying to answer your questions, reflect if your questions were all answered, and that you are satisfied with their answers, recite a summary of what you just learned by saying it out loud or writing it down, and review the material one more time.

🤎Feynman Technique: explain the concept to yourself like you are explaining it to a five-year-old. When you explain something to yourself in your own words, you understand it a lot better.

🤎Mind Mapping: connect the ideas you know with visual diagrams and add on to them with the more you learn. This is really helpful for visual learners and can help you understand how different concepts are related to each other.

If I can't explain something simply, or if I use jargon without defining it, I know I haven't fully grasped it. This is my signal to go back to my notes, textbook, or even a different resource to clarify that specific point. I keep repeating this cycle: explain, identify gaps, review, then try explaining again, until my explanation is crystal clear and uses simple language. This iterative process not only helps me understand the material deeply but also highlights any superficial understanding I might have had. It's incredibly powerful for building a solid foundation of knowledge that sticks around long after the exam.
