Picking up the pieces

Trauma dumping as my daughter would say.... 😅 I remember when my ex left with his mistress it was a tough time. My ex and his mistress were causing havoc by constantly harassing and threatening me During this time my daughters were about 4 and 5 and my mother was battling cancer she had a 3 percent chance of surviving. I went back to school at the age of 25 and I was trying to apply for jobs. I didn't want to depend on the government. Unfortunately everything had to be put on hold because being the youngest of five I had to take care of my mother. I didn't mind it but I was exhausted. So everyday to distract myself and my kids from the chaos. I would pull out all their dolls along with the accessories and play for hours until one of them would request to stop. At the end it was worth it I was trying to protect and stay strong for my kids and my mother. It's been twenty years and my girls have beautiful memories of us playing and my mom is still alive. Thank you for reading.#traumaticchildhood #traumahealing #divorcedwomen #momlife #momsoflemon8
