* Schedule: Operating on a regular Sunday schedule, but expect significant delays due to the snow.

* Buses: Articulated buses (the long, "accordion" style) have been pulled from service. Standard 40-foot buses are running with snow chains, though many routes are delayed or rerouted based on local road conditions.

Commuter Rail (LIRR & Metro-North)

* Long Island Rail Road (LIRR): Operating on a Modified Sunday Schedule.

* Port Jefferson Branch: Hourly service between Huntington and NYC.

* Port Washington Branch: Hourly service.

* Babylon Branch: Half-hourly service; note there are no direct trains to/from Grand Central.

* Ronkonkoma Branch: No service between Ronkonkoma and Greenport.

* Metro-North: Operating Hourly Service on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven lines.

* West of Hudson: Service on the Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines was suspended as of 2:00 PM today.

Other Transit and Closures

* Port Authority Bus Terminal: All bus service has been suspended.

* Ferries: NYC Ferry service is suspended due to whiteout conditions. The Staten Island Ferry is currently operating on an hourly schedule.

* Roads: A travel advisory is in effect. All commercial vehicles on state highways are restricted to the right lane only.
