If You’re Working On Yourself.... Read This

Laziness kills ambition.

Anger kills wisdom.

Fear kills dreams.

Ego kills growth.

Jealousy kills peace.

Doubt kills confidence.

Now read it right to left.

Sometimes the biggest glow up in life isn’t what you add.... it’s what you let go of.

And if you’re choosing growth, peace, confidence, and purpose....

just remember:

✨ You’re built different.

Save this for a mindset reset later. Follow for more encouragement if you’re working on yourself.

... Read moreWorking on yourself is often portrayed as an addition game — learn new habits, acquire new skills, add positive affirmations. But from my experience, sometimes the most powerful transformations come from subtraction: letting go of the mental blocks and destructive emotions that hold us back. I’ve realized that laziness doesn’t just slow progress; it kills ambition itself. When I understood this, I began to tackle tasks with intention and discipline, which opened doors I didn’t know existed. Similarly, anger once clouded my judgment and hindered my wisdom. Accepting this helped me cultivate patience and perspective, enriching decisions both personally and professionally. Fear is particularly insidious; it silently extinguishes dreams by convincing us we’re not capable or worthy. Once I consciously faced my fears—sometimes in small, incremental steps—a world of opportunity came into view. What’s beautiful is that as we shed ego and jealousy, we create space for genuine growth and peace. I’ve found that acknowledging my ego triggers allows me to stay humble and receptive to learning, while releasing jealousy fosters deeper connections and contentment. Finally, doubt can corrode confidence, but recognizing doubt as a normal feeling rather than a barrier has empowered me to take action despite uncertainty. The process isn’t linear or easy, but adopting this mindset reset—focusing on what to let go rather than only what to add—has been pivotal in my personal development journey. If you’re working on yourself, remember: you’re built different. Growth, peace, confidence, and purpose come not just from what you acquire, but also what you consciously decide to release. Embrace this duality to truly glow up from the inside out.
