Motherhood +autoimmune+early menopause changed me
Motherhood changes you.
Autoimmune struggles change you.
And early menopause?! Whew.... she’ll really introduce you to a version of yourself you didn’t see coming.
I’ve always been confident in who I am.... my mom made sure of that 💪
But this season?! This one is deeper. Quieter. More intentional.
Something in me is shifting.... and instead of questioning it, I’m finally letting God lead it 🙏
If you’re in a season of becoming.... you’re not alone 🤍
🫶 Save this for the days you don’t recognize yourself
🫶 Motherhood of different ages was a real challenge when I made this.... share with a mama who’s growing through it and let her know, I promise little by little it balances out 💛

Living through the intersection of motherhood, autoimmune issues, and early menopause has truly reshaped my perspective and daily life. Each of these experiences on their own is significant, but together they create a unique journey of self-discovery and resilience. Motherhood constantly evolves, presenting new challenges as children grow and family dynamics shift. I've learned that patience and self-compassion are essential as the days can feel overwhelming and unpredictable. Balancing the demands of being a mom while managing an autoimmune condition means tuning into my body’s needs more than ever before. Fatigue and flare-ups require me to slow down and prioritize rest without guilt. Early menopause added another profound layer to this transformation. The physical symptoms and emotional fluctuations pushed me into a space of silent reflection. It’s a phase that often goes unspoken but knowing I’m not alone in it has been comforting. Sharing my story with other women helped me realize how common these intertwined experiences are and how important community support can be. What stands out to me is how this season is quieter and more intentional. Despite the challenges, it’s a time of spiritual growth and acceptance. Letting go of who I used to be and embracing who I am becoming, with all the changes and shifts, has been liberating. Faith has played a crucial role in guiding me through uncertainty towards hope. For anyone navigating similar paths, I encourage you to honor your journey. It's okay to feel different and to redefine your identity beyond the roles and expectations placed on you. Little by little, with support, patience, and self-love, balance emerges. Remember, transformation is a process, and you are not alone.
