One thing I’ve learned through my own journey is the power of embracing imperfection and finding humor in the chaos. When kids refuse simple things like brushing their hair or when tension runs high with your teenage sons, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But reminding myself "I’m standing on me," a phrase filled with empowerment, helps ground me in these moments. It’s about honoring who I am and what I’ve been through — including the early menopause transition — while still showing up fully for my family. Humor and small victories play a big role too. Sometimes, a silly TikTok filter or a shared laugh with my kids can shift the whole mood and remind me it’s okay to smile despite the crazy moments. Real life isn’t always polished, and celebrating that reality is incredibly freeing. If you’re a mom balancing these complexities, remember you’re not alone. Celebrate your strength, your quirks, and those moments when you keep standing, even when it’s hard. It’s in those moments of vulnerability and courage that we find our true resilience as moms and as women.
