🪄 Abra Abra Cadabra & Years of practice
I didn't always though.... my life story is loaded plates, opened tabs, and enough plot twists to keep a therapist employed. 🍽️🧠😂
Somewhere along the way, I learned to laugh through it, adapt through it, and keep moving through it. Not because it's easy.... but because life gave me a lot of practice.
Still overwhelmed sometimes. Still overstimulated sometimes. Still carrying a lot.
Just with better coping skills, more boundaries, and a slightly darker sense of humor. ☕💀❤️
😂 What's your favorite coping mechanism: coffee, humor, naps, or all three?!?

Dealing with life’s chaos is something I’ve come to understand deeply through years of personal experience. At times, life feels like juggling loaded plates while managing dozens of open tabs in your brain — all with enough unexpected twists to keep any therapist busy. But over the years, what I’ve learned is that it’s not about having a perfect plan, but rather about developing a flexible mindset that can adapt and find humor even in difficult moments. Often, we may feel overwhelmed or overstimulated by the demand of daily responsibilities or emotional burdens. For me, the key coping strategies include a good cup of coffee to center myself, a bit of humor to lighten heavy moments, and taking naps whenever possible to recharge. These simple acts can accumulate into powerful tools for maintaining balance. Importantly, setting boundaries has been a game-changer. Learning to say no and protect my mental and emotional energy has allowed me to carry my load more sustainably. And a slightly darker sense of humor has helped me find strength in situations where others might only see frustration or sadness. If you often hear, “You don’t look overwhelmed — how do you do it?” the real secret isn’t invisibility but rather the practice of resilience. Over time, with many ups and downs, it becomes second nature to keep moving forward. This journey isn’t linear nor easy, but laughing through the messiness makes it more bearable. So whether you find comfort in a morning brew, a good laugh, or a mid-day rest, know that these small cares add up to big impacts. Sharing these experiences helps us realize that coping is a skill honed over years — not a trait you’re born with. Embracing imperfection and the chaos of life with humor and self-care is something I invite you to try, because sometimes, Abra Abra Cadabra really is the magic we need to carry on.
