The ABCs.... and ALL the feels 🥹⏳
On this day in 2023.... 💛 I can't believe how little BOTH of us were!
Part of me is begging time to slow down because my "babies" are growing up way too fast....
....and the other part is laughing because you can definitely tell this was before menopause had a few opinions about my metabolism gene! 😂 Back then I kept saying I needed to gain a few pounds (WHICH I DID).
Life changes. Kids grow. Bodies change. But these little moments?!? They're the ones I'll treasure forever. ♥️

Moms, what's one memory you wish you could step back into for just five minutes?!?

As a parent, I've often found myself caught between the desire to slow down time and the need to embrace the changes life brings. Watching children grow faster than we expect is both joyful and bittersweet. Those moments, when they were tiny and dependent, are truly fleeting yet unforgettable. It's important to hold onto these memories, whether captured in photos or carried in your heart, because they form the fabric of family life. I've also experienced the ups and downs of body changes through motherhood and beyond—especially during and after menopause. Like mentioned in the original post, metabolism shifts can be surprising, and gaining or losing weight can feel like a roller coaster. But through it all, self-acceptance and humor help tremendously. Laughing at these changes or sharing them with other moms creates a community of support. Finding joy in everyday rhythms—like coffee moments, dressing up, or sharing sarcastic humor—adds richness to mom life. It’s these small pleasures that often keep us going and help us treasure each season. When I think about one memory to revisit for just a few minutes, it’s the first time my child held my hand on their own. That tiny, powerful moment captures the essence of growth, change, and love. Connecting with other moms who feel the same way, sharing our stories, creates a space where we can all celebrate how quickly our babies grow yet cherish the lifelong bond. Whether you’re looking back at days when your kids were small or adapting to new chapters in life, remember that these “little moments” are the ones that truly last forever. Embrace each stage with gratitude, humor, and warmth—because these feelings are what make motherhood uniquely beautiful.

✨ Here's your reminder to record the little moments—they become the big memories.
