Let go of how you thought it should look.

Things won’t always go as planned.... but even the detours can be beautiful. 🤍

Let go of how you thought it should look.

Trust where life is taking you.

Sometimes the unexpected path becomes the most beautiful part of the story. ✨

What’s one “detour” in your life that ended up being a blessing in disguise?!? ✨

Send this to someone who needs permission to release the “should.”

... Read moreFrom personal experience, I've found that the most memorable and meaningful moments often come from the unexpected twists in life rather than the carefully planned routes. When we cling too tightly to how life 'should' look, we can miss out on the unique opportunities that come from detours. Letting go of expectations allows us to be more present and open. For instance, a career change that initially seemed like a setback ended up opening doors to new passions and friendships I never anticipated. Similarly, moments like a missed flight or sudden plans canceling have sometimes led to spontaneous adventures and deeper connections. The idea of trusting where life takes you aligns with embracing the unknown with curiosity instead of fear. By releasing control, you create space for growth, resilience, and unexpected joy. Life’s detours are not obstacles but invitations to explore new horizons. Sharing your story about a ‘detour’ that became a blessing can inspire others to see their own challenges differently. Sometimes, all it takes is permission to release the ‘should’—the rigid image of how things must be—and to welcome the beautiful surprises along the way.

For all my fellow planners: sometimes the hardest part isn’t the detour.... it’s accepting that the original plan was never the destination. 🤍
