Beachwear to Beach-town 🐚

Here are a few transitional beach. Looks that take you straight from the beach into the beach town. There’s so many cute places where you can go to the beach and then go shop, eat, look around after. So I created a few looks that are easy to wear to both!

This first option is so fun and cute. It is an easy outfit to throw on over your swimsuit! These shorts are from Sezane and the button up is from H&M. I think the trick here is that the swimsuit perfectly matches the shorts so it looks very intentional and like a curated outfit!

Outfit two is always a go to, which is an easy matching set. Matching sets are great in my opinion because you always just look put together and thought out. This cotton set is so easy to throw on over your swimsuit, but then pair with some jewelry and a cute bag and you’re good to go! After the beach, I would throw it on and add accessories!

Lastly, finding tops that could be worn on their own, but also as a beach cover-up. I got this tank top with the intention of wearing it with jeans and out and about, but it also throws on perfectly over a swimsuit. I think this makes it the perfect piece to transition from the beach to the beach town!

Lastly, my tip would be having cute accessories to add to all these outfits and swimsuits! #beachyvibes #zerogatekeeping #lemon8partner

Read moreHaving explored some great transitional beach outfit ideas, I want to share a little personal insight on how to maximize comfort without sacrificing style during these beach-town excursions. One of my favorite tips is to prioritize breathable and lightweight fabrics like cotton and linen, especially for cover-ups and matching sets. These materials not only keep you cool under the sun but also minimize wrinkles for a fresh look when you step off the sand. For example, a cotton matching set layered over your swimsuit can seamlessly take you from a beach stroll to brunch or shopping. I also always carry versatile accessories such as straw hats, oversized sunglasses, and a statement tote bag. These pieces are not just functional—they elevate your beach-to-town style effortlessly. A straw hat adds sun protection and a laid-back vibe, while a chic tote easily fits essentials like sunscreen, a water bottle, and a light cardigan. Mixing and matching colors is another fun way to create intentional outfits. As mentioned, when your swimsuit colors match your shorts or cover-up, it looks curated without much effort. I often coordinate neutral pieces with pops of color through jewelry or footwear, making each look feel fresh and unique. Lastly, footwear choice can make or break your transition look. Slip-on sandals or espadrilles work amazingly well because they’re easy to walk in on sand but also stylish enough for casual dining or exploring local shops. In my experience, blending comfort, practicality, and style through thoughtful clothing and accessories ensures a flawless transition from a day at the beach to a lively beach town. It’s all about those little details that make you feel confident and ready for anything the day brings.
