My dad did his best to show me all the things before he got sick and down, then I helped build houses, do remodels and then restoration work on homes. I’ve done my own home projects. I want my girls to know they can do it, practice makes perfect, you’re gonna mess up along the way and that’s okay… just do it! Not only do you feel good when the job is done but you save money doing it yourself! It’s important to know how to do things because you never know when those skill will come in handy.
