Raspberry cream, Cinnabon rolls
Hey buddy, I ate them said they were off the hook. I didn’t eat none of them. They have an apple Cinnabon too but the way that I make them as I put 2 cups of cream on top of them and bake them, they swell up twice as big and a lot more moist and they taste better so my kids love them
I've found that adding cream on top of Cinnabon rolls before baking really elevates the taste and texture. Using about two cups of cream seems perfect—it keeps the rolls moist and helps them puff up beautifully, resulting in a soft, fluffy pastry that contrasts wonderfully with the sweet cinnamon filling. You might want to experiment with different types of cream, like heavy whipping cream or even a custard base, to see which you prefer. Additionally, raspberry cream pairs surprisingly well with the spicy warmth of the cinnamon rolls. You can create a quick raspberry cream by gently mixing fresh or frozen raspberries with whipped cream and a touch of sugar, which adds a bright, fruity contrast to the rich dough. If you want to try an apple variation, as mentioned, adding chunks of apple or apple sauce inside the rolls or on top with the cream can add another layer of flavor and moisture. From personal experience, these homemade rolls are a hit during weekend breakfasts or special occasions. Baking them until golden and brushing them with the cream mixture ensures they come out perfectly baked without drying out. This method makes a great way to enjoy a comforting treat with the family, and kids especially love the gooey, creamy texture combined with the familiar cinnamon taste.
