Cute Ceramic Shop off the Beaten Path in Ireland 🇮đŸ‡Ē

If you are ever lucky enough to visit Ireland like I was, my biggest tip is to GET OUT OF THE CITY. This is one of the few places in Europe where I genuinely think renting a car is so amazing (as long as you can drive on the left side of the road). The best part about Ireland are the tiny little towns that probably don’t even have public transportation access to the city. They are filled with fantastic gems like pubs where everyone gets together in the evening, and even cute little ceramic shops.

My family and I came to this tiny town on our road trip, and since I love ceramics and my dad does too, we stopped at this local pottery shop. Every shelf was filled in the whole place. There is a tiny section for the shop and right behind the checkout counter you can see the potters wheel and kiln which was super cool. You can also see the various pieces they have that are in various stages of the making process which I thought was so special.

The owners are also very sweet and welcoming as well. They are a husband and wife duo who are super friendly. The husband makes the ceramics and the wife is the one who does the glazing (painting of the pot). There are all kinds of practical pieces like bowls and mugs, but there are also adorable figurines that reflect local wildlife and lore. All in all a super cute shop and I highly recommend you check it out!
