Hey CoK fam! I recently pulled off one of my most satisfying siege victories yet, completely zeroing an opponent's castle. If you've ever wondered what it means to 'zero' someone in Clash of Kings, or how to achieve those massive Kills and Power reductions you see in battle reports, I'm here to share my insights! So, what exactly is 'zeroing' a castle? It's when you launch such a devastating attack that you completely wipe out all of an enemy player's troops and often their resources, effectively rendering their castle powerless and making them an easy target for future farming. It's a huge strategic win, not just for resources, but for claiming dominance in your kingdom. The feeling of seeing those Power:-77,052,757 or Power:-68,344,866 numbers in the battle details chart? Pure satisfaction! Achieving a successful zero isn't just about throwing troops at a target. It requires careful planning. First, I always do thorough scouting. I look for castles that have a good amount of resources (like the 65.0G and 7.6G resources I often see), but more importantly, I check their active troops and any SVIP levels (like SVIP 10, which indicates a powerful player). Sometimes, if I see their troops are unsheltered, it's a green light! My troop composition is crucial. I focus on a balanced mix, often deploying powerful units like Sabertooth Cavalier, Bloodraven Bolt Reaper, Forsaken Archon, Frenzied Undead Archer, and Frostwing Sentinel. These units, especially at XVIII tier, can make a massive difference. You need to consider what defensive units the opponent might have and counter them effectively. I also make sure to use all my battle buffs and items. For instance, I always check if I have 'Redemption' active – that 50% chance for 20% of dead troops to become wounded is a lifesaver for minimizing my own losses during a sustained attack. The battles are often intense, like the multiple Siege Victory reports I saw against players like (UNE)TambuReborn and (TOR) Mangust. Analyzing the 'Battle Details Chart' after each attack is key. It shows you everything: your kills, their losses, wounded counts, and how much power was lost. This helps refine your strategy for subsequent hits if it's a multi-march siege. Seeing my troops return after a successful siege, knowing I inflicted millions in Kills while keeping my Losses relatively low, is what makes the game so engaging. While my post focuses on offense, remember that castle defense is equally important in Clash of Kings. Always try to shelter your troops, keep your walls upgraded, and ensure your defense tactics are solid. But for now, let's celebrate those epic siege victories! Happy zeroing, my fellow lords!
