Disclaimer: all products were gifted via various review programs. I would say about half of them were worth it, and most of the ‘worth it products’ were the skincare products. What are your thoughts on these products, price points, and brands? Have you tried any of these brands out? Did you think they were worth it?

The Tom Ford scent wasn’t lime forward, instead it smelled primarily of sandalwood. So I was disappointed in it for that reason. The Theraderm retinol formula is amazing! One of my favorites on the market, it was a rare retinol that also exfoliates as well to help with skin cell turnover. Not only did this work for my sensitive and dry leaning skin, it also did an amazing job at helping me with acne and my dry skin. If you want a treatment for wrinkles, a full face mask is the best option. The Solawave wands don’t offer an even application because you need to do your face by sections. This mask allows you to do your entire face at the same time. So it is also more efficient time wise. It being a silicone mask allows it to hug your face’s contours and makes it easy to sanitize the mask between uses. I did have to close my eyes while wearing the mask, but if you lay down while using it, time goes by quickly and you get to relax. Element Eight is hands down one of my favorite higher end brands. Their line is completely fragrance free, and one pump of this cream was enough for my whole face and neck. Super hydrating for anyone with dry skin, and they offer a unique Oxygen Amplified Therapy. I say skip the Dior foundation, I had an awful reaction to it because it was so strongly fragranced. My skin turned red and irritated right away, which was frustrating. The Kaplan MD products featured crushed diamonds which doesn’t seem like a ‘normal’ skincare ingredient, and I was skeptical if they would really work or not. The at home facial is the softest my skin has ever felt from an exfoliating product, so it really proved itself in my opinion. My favorite of the three products I got to try out from the brand, although the eye cream was a close second and helped with the firmness of the skin under my eyebrows. Lastly I love the idea of a longer shelf stable retinol serum, where you mix the retinol powder and the liquid serum together as needed. But it didn’t work for me, and I disliked how it would pill up no matter what products I used with or without it.
