Numbuzin Pantothenic Acid Line Reviews

If you haven’t heard of Pantothenic B5, you more than likely have heard of this ingredient’s other name: panthenol. It’s an ingredient that is well known for helping maintain a healthy skin barrier. Not only does it help your skin maintain its moisture, it also helps promote skin healing which can help acne prone skin as well. It can also help with excess oil that our skin produces. The three products I tried are: a mattefying powder, serum, and cream.

I love the fact that you can mix the powder with the cream for example, so your skin won’t look so shiny. Or you can use the powder by itself to target any oil prone areas (for me that’s my t-zone, or my forehead and nose especially). This is a great alternative to a setting powder or blotting sheets. Even as someone with dry skin, I found that the powder didn’t make my dry skin any more noticeable. The serum is incredibly lightweight, as is the moisturizer. This is another cream where a little bit goes a long way. This was also a fragrance free line. It’s available on Amazon now!

... Read moreHey skincare fam! You might've stumbled upon 'pantothenic acid' or 'panthenol' and wondered, 'Are these the same thing? And what do they actually do for my skin?' I was totally there too! Let me break it down for you based on my own research and experience. Essentially, pantothenic acid is also known as Vitamin B5. Panthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid – think of it as a super bioavailable form that our skin loves to absorb and convert into pantothenic acid. So, for all intents and purposes in skincare, when you see either, you're looking at the incredible benefits of Vitamin B5! The original article mentioned Numbuzin's Pantothenic B5 line, and that 'B5' is exactly what we're talking about. Why is this ingredient such a big deal, especially for those of us struggling with oily or acne-prone skin? First off, panthenol is a fantastic humectant, meaning it draws moisture into the skin. This might sound counter-intuitive for oily skin, but proper hydration is crucial, even for us! When your skin is dehydrated, it can actually produce more oil to compensate, leading to a vicious cycle. Panthenol helps to break this by maintaining a healthy skin barrier. Speaking of the skin barrier, this is where panthenol truly shines. It supports the skin's natural healing process, making it a hero for calming irritation and redness often associated with breakouts. I’ve noticed a significant difference in how quickly my blemishes fade and how much less inflamed my skin looks since incorporating products with this ingredient. For instance, the Numbuzin Pantothenic B5 Active Soothing Serum from the line I reviewed felt incredibly calming on my skin, especially after a breakout. Another huge win? Its ability to help manage excess sebum production. While it won't strip your skin, it promotes a more balanced environment. This is where the Numbuzin Pantothenic B5 Active Drying Powder really blew me away. I used to rely on blotting papers, but this powder, which isn't just for makeup, is a game-changer. I even mixed a tiny bit with their Numbuzin Pantothenic B5 Active Soothing Cream on particularly oily days, and it provided a subtle mattifying effect without drying me out. It's fantastic for targeting those T-zone areas that seem to get shiny no matter what! So, if you're looking for skincare that truly understands the needs of acne-prone or oily skin, don't overlook pantothenic acid (or panthenol!). It’s a gentle yet powerful ingredient that works to hydrate, soothe, and balance, helping you achieve that healthy, calm complexion we all dream of. Give it a try, your skin might just thank you!
