Forever Wanted Elixir by Azzaro One Min Review

To be honest, I had no idea what to expect with this scent. I hadn't heard of the brand before. I was actually pleasantly surprised by this one! It features a mixture of leather, raspberry, woods, mandarin, bergamot, and more. The scents work well with one another, without fighting to be the strongest in the bunch. It has a nice balance to it. The scent lasted for me as well. However, the scent ended up being a bit too strong for me personally. A little goes a long way with this one. As for the packaging, this is glass and plastic (even though it looks metal on the upper half, it is in fact plastic). Although this bottle has some weight to it thanks to the glass. Overall though because this was a scent profile that I enjoyed, I'm giving it four out of five stars.

... Read moreOkay, so let's talk more about this Azzaro Forever Wanted Elixir. When I first got it, I genuinely had no idea what to expect, but from the first spray, it was clear this wasn't just any fragrance. The initial burst of mandarin and bergamot gives it such a vibrant, fresh opening – it really wakes up the senses. But it’s not just a fleeting freshness; there’s a deeper, masculine warmth that quickly emerges. The mention of cardamom really resonates, as I pick up on that spicy, aromatic quality adding an intriguing complexity to the initial citrus. It’s definitely what makes it feel both fresh and incredibly inviting, steering it away from being a generic 'fresh' scent. As it settles, the heart of the fragrance, with notes like raspberry and woods, starts to shine. The raspberry isn't overly sweet or jammy; it's more of a sophisticated, slightly tart fruitiness that blends seamlessly with the woody accords. This is where the balance the original review highlighted really comes into play. Nothing feels out of place; each note contributes to a rich, harmonious blend. And then, the base! The leather accord is prominent, giving it a luxurious, slightly edgy feel. Coupled with Vetiver Heart and Wolfwood, it creates a robust, long-lasting foundation that truly anchors the scent. It's this combination that makes it so distinctly masculine and memorable. Now, about the strength. I mentioned it was a bit too strong for my personal preference, and I really mean a little goes a long way. This isn't a scent you need to overspray. One or two spritzes are more than enough to get you through the day, and honestly, probably into the evening too. Its projection is quite significant, meaning people will notice you, but without being overwhelming if applied correctly. For those who love a fragrance that makes a statement and lasts, this is definitely a winner. I found its longevity impressive, easily getting 8+ hours on my skin. Considering its depth and warmth, I’d say Forever Wanted Elixir leans towards cooler weather – autumn and winter – or evening wear. It has a certain gravitas that feels perfect for a night out or a special occasion. While it starts fresh, its dry down is undeniably rich and warm. The packaging, as noted, is a sturdy mix of glass and plastic, but the weight of the glass base gives it a premium feel in hand. It’s a bottle that looks good on any dresser. Overall, despite its potency being a personal challenge, I still stand by my 4/5 star rating because the craftsmanship and unique scent profile are truly commendable. If you're looking for a bold, distinctive, and long-lasting masculine fragrance with a touch of fresh sophistication, Azzaro Forever Wanted Elixir is absolutely worth trying out.
