GLIDR Eye Pencil by ABH One Min Review

I loved the color of this eyeshadow pencil. In some lights it looked blue, in others green, although it's described as a metallic teal. It applied smoothly with no skin tugging. As a result, I'm giving this three out of five stars. The reason two stars was taken off is because no matter what I did, this shadow creased. To be honest, it did it basically immediately after being applied to my eyes. Whether it was on top of a primer, whether there was no primer. If I applied this by itself, if I blended it out with my finger, if I blended it out with a makeup brush, even if I applied a powder based eyeshadow on top. Unfortunately it didn't work for me, unless I applied it as just an eyeliner (ie not to me whole eye lid). There were enough things that I enjoyed about it to give it three stars still. But I can't see myself rushing to get a different color from this line because it didn't work out for me.
From my own experience with the ABH GLIDR Eyeshadow Pencil, specifically in the shade Sirena, it’s true that this product boasts a gorgeous shifting metallic teal hue that’s quite eye-catching. The duochrome effect, showing flashes of blue and green under different lighting, offers a unique charm that can easily elevate any look — perfect for game days or themed makeup. However, it’s important to manage expectations when it comes to wear. Like the initial review, I found that creasing was unavoidable no matter how I applied the pencil. I tested it over several primers designed to enhance longevity, applied it on bare eyelids, and even layered powder shadows on top to set it. Unfortunately, none of these techniques prevented the crease lines that appeared quickly after application. This is particularly disappointing because the formula applies smoothly without any skin tugging, which is a definite plus for those with sensitive or delicate eyelids. What worked surprisingly well for me was using this eyeshadow stick as an eyeliner rather than a full lid shadow. Since it is thicker than typical eyeliners, it can create a bold, dramatic line with its intense metallic pigmentation. This use also sidesteps the creasing issue somewhat because of the smaller application area. For those considering this product, it’s worth noting that while the color payoff and feel are impressive, the longevity on the eyelid may not meet expectations for all-day wear. Using it alongside a strong eyelid primer or setting sprays might improve the wear time, but even then, a touch-up may be necessary. Overall, if you love experimenting with duochrome shades and want a smooth, richly pigmented pencil that doubles as a standout eyeliner, the GLIDR shadow stick is worth a try. But if crease-proof eyeshadow is a priority, unfortunately, this might not be the best option. My experience aligns with the honest review suggesting a cautious approach before purchasing multiple shades from this line.
