Remembering death.

🪷 Remember death... to live in value.

Many people do not like to talk about "death" because it is thought to be inauspicious or frightening.

But in Buddhism, remembering death is not so depressing.

But to keep us awake and live recklessly,

💡 Why remember death?

1. Because it is a runaway fact

No matter how rich and beautiful and handsome we are,

In the end, everyone has to go the same route.

2. Because it makes us wake up from obsession

Knowing that time is limited, we will not waste time on nonsense.

3. Because it makes us love and forgive each other more easily.

Knowing that we and those around us may leave at any time,

We will not be stubborn, not angry for a long time, and want to do better for each other.

🧘‍♂️ How to practice remembering death

1. Remind yourself every day

May recite in mind that

"This life is not long. Death may come today."

Not to fear, but to know the value of every breath.

2. Observe all around

When you see falling leaves, withered flowers or sick people,

Remember, this is the ordinary of the myth. Everything has to change and go out.

3. Ask yourself often

"If today is the last day, what will we do?"

This answer will say what is really important in life.

4. Practice letting go

Knowing that everything has to be thrown away, we gradually reduce our attachment.

Make your heart lighter.

🌼 Benefits of remembering death

• Worth living every day

• Choose only useful things

• Reduce anger, stress and attachment

• Make the mind ready to receive the truth when that day comes

🪷 Dharma summary today

"Death is not terrible.

The scary thing is to live without knowing its value. "
