How I got PR Packages Paid Partnerships 💡 Read ⬇️
Hey y’all!
I worked as a content creator from 2018 to 2022. I’ve been a UGC creator, a brand ambassador, and have even done a few paid partnerships. I would also receive PR packages from various skincare or beauty brands. (Swipe to see my past work) Want to know my secrets?
Well, there’s not much of a secret. All you need to do is sell yourself. Start by creating content based on products you already have. Build relationships in the community you are trying to become a creator/influencer in. Get your name out there and build your brand!
A lot of the time, brands would reach out to me. For example: NYX, ZitSticka, Merit, and I Dew Care. This was because I was active in these communities.
If they didn’t reach out, I would sign up for influencer or ambassador programs. At the time, I had 1k followers on Instagram and didn’t even have super high engagement rates so for those with small followings— you have a chance!!
Now, for how I made actual money. I worked with programs like Social Native and Brkfst. These require video editing skills so if this is something you are familiar with, sign up! I’ve made a couple thousand dollars working with these platforms. For Brkfst, you will actually have to put in a lot of work. You have various briefs and short turn around times. If you can handle this, I would highly recommend it.
Please comment if you have any questions or need some tips!!!
Brands I’ve worked with or received PR from: YesStyle and YesStyle brands, TOMs, Crocs, Luden’s, NYX, Merit, ZitSticka, Prose, HelloFresh, Vichy, April Skin, Habit.

In today's digital age, influencer marketing has become a powerful tool for brands looking to reach consumers effectively. As a budding influencer, focusing on authenticity and genuine engagement with your audience can open doors to lucrative PR partnerships. It's essential to showcase your personality in your content—brands want to work with influencers who resonate with their target audience. Begin by creating high-quality content using products you already love and use; this not only builds trust but also your portfolio. Engage actively with niche communities on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok to get noticed by brands. Participating in ambassador programs can also pave the way toward being contacted for paid collaborations. Networking is key in this industry. Follow and interact with brands, attend industry events, and leverage hashtags related to influencer marketing. Don't underestimate the power of small followings; many brands consider engagement rates and authentic reach more critical than mere follower numbers. Additionally, gaining skills in video editing and content planning can set you apart in programs like Social Native and Brkfst, where the demand for quality content is high. These platforms offer opportunities that can translate into substantial income. Stay persistent, create compelling content, and always be open to learning. With these strategies, you can effectively build your influencer career, secure PR packages, and establish paid partnerships.

I have 1.4k on insta and average 80-150 likes per post, but I keep getting denied for “influencer” type programs (ie skeepers influencer & amazon influencer). do you have any tips?
