「大人も使えるベビーチェア」を探している人に向けて、私が使ってみて“ここが助かった”ポイントをもう少し具体的にまとめます。結論、赤ちゃん期だけの家具じゃなくて、家族の椅子として回せるのがいちばんの魅力でした。 まず新生児期。授乳やおむつ替えの合間にごはんの支度をすると、どうしても赤ちゃんを“どこに寝かせておくか問題”が出ます。ニューボーン・ユニットみたいに少し角度がつけられると、真上の天井だけじゃなく家族の顔が見えるので、体感ですがご機嫌タイムが伸びやすかったです。キッチンやダイニングで作業していても視界に入る距離にいられるのも安心でした。 次に「離乳食にピッタリスタイル」へ移行する時期。腰すわり前後は姿勢が崩れやすいので、スターターセットやフードトレイで“食べる姿勢を作りやすいか”が重要だと思いました。食べ物まみれになるのは避けられないので、掃除しやすい素材か、隙間に汚れが入りにくい形かもチェックすると後悔しにくいです。 そして一番検索されているであろう「大人もいける？」問題。来客時に椅子が足りないとき、子ども用のハイチェアは戦力外になりがち。でも座面・足置きの高さを工具なしでサクッと変えられるタイプは、その場で“大人もいける”状態にできて本当に便利でした。産後は体もつらいので、ネジを回して付け替えて…みたいな作業がないだけでハードルが下がります。 最後に選び方のコツ。大人まで使うなら、①耐荷重（公式の数値）、②足置きの調整幅、③テーブルの有無と取り外しやすさ、④掃除のしやすさ、⑤家のダイニングに置いた時の圧迫感（デザイン）をセットで見るのがおすすめ。赤ちゃんの“席無し”期間を減らしつつ、家族4人で美味しいご飯を落ち着いて食べるための投資だと感じました。
