First Time Canning Baked Beans!!

-2 lbs Great Northern Beans Soaked overnight

-In the morning boil for 45 minutes( only until splitting open, not mushy)

-1 lb Bacon cut, Cook halfway

Add in

- 2 tablespoons minced garlic

-6 chopped onions, reduce

-4 teaspoons salt

-Pepper to taste

-4 tablespoons Dijon Mustard

-1/3 Cups Molasses

-1/3 Cups Brown Sugar

-Stir all together

-Pour in 8 cups of water

-Turn off heat and put lid on

-Drain Beans and add to the Dutch Oven

-Mix Well and lid back on

-Bake at 300 degrees for 4 hours

-Ladle into hot jars, wipe rims with white vinegar, place lids, put rings on finger tight

-Pressure Cook for 90 minutes at 10psi (check your owners manual)

I made 4 quarts and had the extra for lunch☺️
