Pumpkin Spice Muffins Recipe 🎃✨🍂

I recently tried the cream cheese pumpkin muffin from Starbucks and I absolutely loved it! But I really didn’t want to spend like $4 for a single muffin every time, so I decided to try and make them myself!

I decided to leave out the cream cheese filling because I unfortunately wasn’t a huge fan of it and just wanted the muffin itself! But they turned out so yummy! Not to mention they make your house smell really warm and comforting on a rainy day!

If you try out this recipe, let me know what you think!

Baking muffins in a convection oven can be a game-changer, giving you beautifully even results and those perfectly golden-brown tops you dream of. I absolutely love using my convection oven for baking, especially for these pumpkin muffins. It's like magic how evenly they cook and how beautifully golden the tops get! There are a few key adjustments and tips I’ve picked up that make all the difference when you're baking in a convection oven. First off, the temperature. One of the biggest things I learned was to always adjust the temperature down. For these homemade pumpkin muffins, if a conventional recipe calls for, say, 375°F (190°C), I usually go for 350°F (175°C) when using convection. This prevents them from browning too quickly on the outside while the inside is still raw, ensuring those PUMPKIN MUFFINS cook through perfectly. Next, let's talk about baking time. Convection ovens circulate hot air, which means they cook faster than conventional ovens. Keep a close eye on your muffins, starting to check them about 5-10 minutes earlier than a conventional recipe suggests. For my pumpkin muffins, I found they were usually done around 18-20 minutes in the convection oven, compared to 22-25 minutes conventionally. A simple toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean when they’re ready. Airflow is another crucial element. Because convection ovens work by circulating hot air, giving your muffins space is key. Don't overcrowd the pan or your oven. I always make sure there's enough room around each muffin tin for the air to flow freely. This ensures consistent heating and avoids uneven baking. When I'm getting my wet and dry ingredients ready for these pumpkin muffins, I always make sure to preheat my convection oven properly. This ensures a consistent temperature from the moment the muffins go in. For the five step-by-step instructions, the process of mixing your ingredients is pretty much the same, but the baking stage is where the convection oven really shines. I typically place the muffin tin on the middle rack for the best results and even cooking. Sometimes, convection can dry things out a bit if you're not careful. To prevent this, make sure you don't overbake. The shorter cooking time is your friend here. If you notice your muffins browning too quickly on top, you can loosely tent them with aluminum foil for the last few minutes of baking. Once they're out of the oven, let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. This helps them set up beautifully and prevents any sogginess. Using a convection oven for these homemade pumpkin muffins is truly a game-changer! You get that perfect texture and taste, almost effortlessly. Give these tips a try with my recipe, and you'll be enjoying bakery-quality muffins right from your own kitchen, all while saving a few bucks on those Starbucks trips!
