i tried the new starbucks refresher 💙
Last Friday I tried the new blue raspberry refresher at Starbucks! I will say it was a little underwhelming, a lot of people were saying it was very sweet and tasted like cotton candy but I didn’t get any of that. I don’t know if it’s just not for me or it wasn’t made right (cuz when I went there were like 80 people there so maybe it was rushed???) but I wasn’t feeling it. I did enjoy the raspberry pearls at the bottom, those were really fun, but just the refresher itself wasn’t really my cup of tea.
What were your thought?

So, about that new Starbucks Blue Raspberry Refresher... I shared my initial thoughts, and while it wasn't a total hit for me, I know taste is super personal! Many people absolutely rave about its vibrant blue hue and the promise of a sweet, fruity escape. Some describe it as a tropical blue raspberry candy explosion, while others, like me, might find it a bit milder than anticipated. The lovely blue liquid itself has a distinct fruity base, and the red raspberry pearls are definitely the star for adding that burst of tartness and fun texture. It's truly a visual treat, a gorgeous blue drink that screams summer vibes. If you're like me and found it a little 'underwhelming' or not sweet enough, don't give up on it just yet! Starbucks Refreshers are incredibly customizable, and that's where the real magic can happen. For a sweeter kick, you could ask for an extra pump of raspberry syrup or even a splash of lemonade to create a more vibrant 'Starbucks blue raspberry lemonade' experience. This can really amplify that 'blue raspberry' flavor you might be searching for. If you prefer it less sweet, simply ask for fewer pumps of the base. I've also heard some people love it with a splash of coconut milk for a creamier, Dreamsicle-like twist – definitely worth a try if you're feeling adventurous and want to experiment beyond the standard 'blue refresher Starbucks' offering! And yes, they do have a specific 'blue raspberry syrup' that forms the base, so don't hesitate to discuss modifications with your barista. My experience might have been rushed because of how busy the store was, which made me wonder if it affected the taste. When trying a new Starbucks refresher, it can sometimes be a hit or miss depending on the barista and how precisely it's made. If you get one that doesn't quite hit the spot, don't be afraid to politely mention it or try it again at a different time or location. Sometimes, getting it 'right' can make all the difference. Also, remember to give those red raspberry pearls a good stir – they really enhance the overall experience, especially with the 'blue liquid'. The '6/10' rating I gave was purely based on my personal first impression, but with a few tweaks, it might climb higher for you! Despite my personal 6/10, it's clear why this 'blue refresher' is so popular. It's visually stunning with its 'blue liquid' and 'red raspberry pearls,' making it perfect for those Instagram-worthy 'summer drink' moments. It's also a fantastic way to cool down. If you're pondering 'does Starbucks have blue raspberry syrup?' for other drinks, the answer is usually within the base of this very refresher, but custom syrups for other beverages vary. It's a fun, fruity option that adds a pop of color to your day. Maybe I'll give it another go with some customization next time. What are your favorite ways to customize your Starbucks refreshers?
