My Next Musical Is…

You guys, I'm still pinching myself! After a whole year of being away from the stage, mostly due to dealing with GERD (which was a real challenge, let me tell you!), I'm so incredibly thrilled to announce my return to musical theatre! And even better, I get to be a Bird Girl in *Seussical the Musical*! For those who might not know, the Bird Girls are such a fun and vibrant part of Seussical. We're essentially the sassy, gossipy, and sometimes a bit mischievous trio who narrate parts of the story and add so much flavor to the Whoville world. Our costumes are absolutely iconic – think bright, colorful feathered headpieces and fabulous *ruffled skirts*! Getting to embody these characters, with their distinct personalities and fantastic harmonies, is an absolute blast. It’s not just about singing and dancing; it’s about bringing that whimsical Dr. Seuss energy to life, and trust me, it’s infectious! Returning to rehearsals has been pure joy. I mean, the photos from our rehearsal studio don't even capture half the fun we're having! It's such a supportive atmosphere, and getting back into the swing of learning choreography and perfecting those harmonies feels like coming home. There’s something magical about creating a show with a dedicated cast and crew. For anyone considering getting back into performing or trying theatre for the first time, I say go for it! The community, the challenge, and the sheer exhilaration of live performance are unmatched. This particular production is happening with the amazing Mystic Vision Players in Linden, NJ. We’re working so hard to make this show spectacular, and I truly believe it’s going to be a must-see! From the Jungle of Nool to Whoville, Seussical is a heartwarming and hilarious journey for all ages, packed with memorable songs and important lessons. Getting to contribute to that as one of the iconic Bird Girls is just the best feeling ever! I can't wait to share the stage with my incredible castmates and bring this beloved story to life for you all.
