✨mini book reviews✨

I have officially finished the first three books of ACOTAR so thought I’d do some mini reviews for each! I am loving this series so much I don’t want it to end 😭

A Court of Thorns and Roses - 4⭐️

This one has been my least favorite so far but I still very much enjoyed it! It was slow in the beginning but definitely picked up as I got more intrigued with the story! I definitely want to reread this one after reading ACOMAF I can’t wait to see all the little foreshadowing moments. I know some people don’t like this one and didn’t continue the series because it was so slow but I highly recommend pushing through to get to the other books!

Favorite Quote: “Be glad of your human heart, Feyre. Pity those who don’t feel anything at all.”

A Court of Mist and Fury - 5⭐️

This book was absolute chefs kiss perfection. I am so in love with all of the characters. I’m not going to say much because I don’t want to accidentally spoil it for anyone but the world building and the romance in this book are my favorite. I now understand the hype of chapter 54 and 55🤩 loved it so so much and I’m constantly dreaming about Velaris 💫

Favorite Quote- “Don’t let the hard days win.” And “to the stars who listen and the dreams that are answered.”✨🌃

A Court of Wings and Ruin - 5⭐️

I loved this one just as much as ACOMAF! I’m still not sure which I loved more. It was just a tad slow for me in the beginning but it really picked up towards the middle/end! The last 80% or so was insane and had my heart pounding out of my chest!! I cried, I laughed, I gasped, it was an emotional roller coaster!

Favorite Quote - “I would have waited five hundred more years for you. A thousand years. And if this was all the time we were allowed to have…the wait was worth it.”

I can’t wait to continue this series! I’m a little nervous for A Court of Silver Flames with the switching of POV (I hate third person!!😵‍💫) but I am excited to read Nesta’s story!

... Read moreIt's true, the ACOTAR series isn't just about the incredible stories within; the covers themselves are works of art that often draw us in before we even read the first page! As someone who's just dived deep into A Court of Thorns and Roses, A Court of Mist and Fury, and A Court of Wings and Ruin, I can totally relate to wanting to appreciate every detail, right down to the 'mini book cover' versions you see everywhere. These covers are truly iconic! Thinking about the iconic cover for A Court of Thorns and Roses, it immediately sets the tone for the magical, dangerous, and romantic journey ahead. Whether it's the original design with its evocative imagery of roses and thorns, or any of the stunning special editions that have been released over time, these 'mini book covers' (or just the covers in general!) are often what first captivate a reader's eye. The intricate details of the thorny vines, the subtle hints of a castle or a fae creature in the background, and the overall mystique they exude are just brilliant. They don't give away too much, but perfectly hint at the fae world, the hidden dangers, and the powerful emotions that Sarah J. Maas, our #1 New York Times Bestselling Author, masterfully weaves into every chapter. It's truly a masterclass in visual storytelling, even before you turn page one. For me, the cover art becomes even more meaningful after reading the book. You start noticing little details that foreshadow events or symbolize key themes. For instance, the fierce yet elegant depiction on the 'A Court of Mist and Fury' cover perfectly captures the essence of newfound strength and resilience, and who could forget the breathtaking imagery associated with Velaris? Then, the intense, battle-ready visuals often tied to 'A Court of Wings and Ruin' covers speak volumes about the epic conflict and sacrifices within. It's like having a beautiful piece of art that encapsulates the adventure, making you want to display these books proudly on your shelf – or even as a 'mini book cover' on your e-reader! The appeal of these 'mini book covers' goes beyond just the initial grab. For many fans, myself included, collecting different editions with varied cover art is a huge part of the experience. From the standard paperbacks to the stunning hardcovers, and even the increasingly popular illustrated or special collector's editions, each cover offers a fresh perspective on the beloved characters and world. These aren't just protective shells for the pages; they're an extension of the story itself, beckoning us into these beloved worlds. They ignite discussion among fans about which cover is their favorite, or which one best represents the book's core. So, whether you're searching for the visual of the 'A Court of Thorns and Roses mini book cover' to admire its artistry, or perhaps looking for compact versions to take on your travels, remember that these visual masterpieces are an integral part of the ACOTAR magic. They're a testament to the power of book design in enhancing our reading journey. Next time you pick up one of these books, take a moment to really soak in that cover – it's telling a story all its own, and it's definitely worth a closer look!
