𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐌𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞
🖤I tried a new church today. In worship they invited people to the altar, I told myself I didn’t need to go. I felt secure where I was, talking to God quietly on my own.
But in the middle of that prayer, I kept repeating a phrase over and over again, “𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞..”
🖤The more I heard it, the more I knew it wasn’t just my voice. God was speaking directly to me. Not for anyone else in the room, just me.🖤 It was a wholesome feeling.
🖤What I felt Him showing me was, When life gets loud, 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. When my mind starts running ahead of my heart, 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. When I feel myself drifting, or temptation shows up disguised as comfort God, 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.
🖤 Y’all, Not stuck. Not afraid. Just Anchored.
“Keep me here” isn’t staying stuck.
It’s choosing solid ground before the shaking even starts.
🖤 Sometimes we think faith means always moving forward. But sometimes faith means asking God to hold us steady right where his peace already lives. How amazing is that?
🖤Pray with me:
God, when everything around me feels uncertain, keep me right where you placed me. When my thoughts race and distractions start, steady my feet and help me recognize the ground you have already made firm for me. Don’t let me move out of my own impatience or my fear. Hold me close God, keep me near you, and 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. Amen.
