When the waters rise 🌊
✨Y’all ever have one of those days where it feels like everything is hitting at once?
✨I love that God didn’t say if you go through hard things. He said when. Because let’s be honest—life gets messy sometimes. Plans change, unexpected things happen, and there are seasons where we’re carrying a lot more than we thought we could.
✨But this verse reminds me that God’s promise was never that we’d avoid the deep waters. His promise is that we wouldn’t walk through them alone.
✨Maybe that’s what someone needs to hear today. Not that everything is going to magically work itself out overnight, but that God sees where you are right now. He knows what you’re carrying, and He’s still right there beside you.
✨The river may be deep, but His presence is deeper. 🤍
I've had my share of days where it truly feels like everything is hitting at once — work pressures, family struggles, unexpected setbacks — all converging simultaneously. During those moments, it's comforting to remember that adversity is not a matter of 'if' but 'when.' This perspective helps me to prepare mentally and spiritually rather than be caught off guard. One verse that has always stayed with me is Isaiah 43:2: "When you have troubles, I am with you. When you cross rivers, you will not be hurt. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not hurt you." These words remind me that the deep waters and fiery trials I face are not meant to defeat me but to refine and strengthen my faith. What resonates most is that God does not promise an easy path free of difficulties but promises His constant presence through every challenge. This reassurance has helped me accept that while I cannot control life’s circumstances, I can rely on a presence deeper and steadier than any rising tide. I've learned to lean into this presence by pausing to pray, meditate on scripture, or simply breathe and acknowledge that I am not alone in my struggles. This mindset has changed how I face hard days — instead of feeling overwhelmed, I remind myself that these trials are part of the journey, and I am accompanied every step of the way. For anyone going through a difficult season right now, remember: life may feel like a turbulent river or roaring fire, but God promises protection and companionship. The waters may rise, but His presence beneath you is deeper and unfailing. Hold on to that truth and find peace amidst the storms.

Yes and Amen 🙏
