🌿The Narrow Road🌿
🌿The gate is small and the road is narrow that leads to true life. Only a few people find that road. Matthew 7:14
🌿I’m realizing lately that the narrow road isn’t just about the big decisions in life... Sometimes it’s choosing prayer over panic. Trust over control. Peace over overthinking.
🌿And I’ll be honest, I don’t always know what to do when life feels heavy. My mind races, I overthink, and I let fear try to take over. But I’ve been learning something during those times.
🌿Instead of IMMEDIATELY asking, “God, why is this happening?” or “What do I do now?” I’ve started saying, “Thank You, God, for this.”🤍
🌿Definitely Not because every moment is easy. Not because I enjoy the hard times. But because I know He’s still there with me.
🌿It’s easy to thank God when everything is going the way we hoped. But it’s hard to thank him when we’re waiting, worried, or walking through something we don’t understand... But I think that’s part of the narrow road Jesus was talking about. Choosing to trust Him even when our feelings tell us to do the opposite.
🌿If you’re anything like me, maybe you carry worries that no one else sees. Maybe you’re try to hold everything together and wonder what comes next.
🌿Today, let’s both of us choose the narrow road together. 🤍 Let’s thank God in the middle of the doubt, fear, and anxiety. Let’s trust that even when we can’t see what He’s doing that He is still working.
🌿He’s never stopped being faithful, and He isn’t about to start now. 🤍

God, thank You for every moment. The happy ones and the difficult ones. Help me choose trust instead of fear and prayer instead of panic. Teach me how to walk the narrow road, knowing that You are leading every step. Even when I don’t understand. I choose to believe that You are good, You are with me, and You are working for my good. Amen.

This daily practice of surrender invites calmness and reassurance, reminding me that I am not alone on this narrow road. I also find encouragement in the fact that many people quietly carry their hidden worries, maintaining a brave face outwardly. Sharing our struggles within supportive communities or through reflection strengthens our resolve and helps us see that the narrow path, while challenging, is walked by many. Ultimately, walking this narrow path means embracing both the joyful and difficult moments with gratitude. It is a commitment to trust in God's faithfulness, even when the outcomes are unseen. Recognize that choosing trust over fear is a powerful act of faith that sustains us through life’s uncertainties and brings us closer to the true life that scripture promises.
