Title: Love's in Sight
📄 Plot: A delinquent boy and visually impaired girl navigate love, relationships firsts, and figure out their place in society, as well as each other's lives
📖 Genre: Romance (shoujo)
📄 My Favorite Quotes: "I don't feel sorry for Miss Yukiko, I love her!"
💭 My Thoughts: It's so freakin cute! Mori is a golden retriever boy in a black cat costume. The relationship between him and yukiko progresses quickly, in these first two volumes, but in a good way I think. I'm already thinking about when I can pick up the rest of this series. It's mostly a feel good romance, but there are some moments that made me tear up too.

Seriously, if you're looking for a romance that tugs at your heartstrings and leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling, you absolutely need to pick up 'Love's in Sight!'. From the moment I saw the first volume, featuring the main characters, I was intrigued, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The premise itself is captivating: a seemingly tough delinquent boy, Mori, and the gentle, visually impaired girl, Yukiko. What makes their dynamic so special is how Mori, despite his initial 'black cat costume' facade, is truly a 'golden retriever boy' at heart, showing such genuine care and affection for Yukiko. Their relationship progresses quickly in the initial volumes, but in a way that feels organic and incredibly sweet, drawing you into their world of firsts. One of the most impactful aspects for me was seeing their relationship unfold and how they navigate society and each other's lives. The manga doesn't shy away from showing the challenges Yukiko faces, but it focuses more on their mutual support and understanding. There are so many moments that made me smile, and yes, even tear up, just as the original article mentioned. That powerful declaration, "I LOVE HER!!" from the manga panel, perfectly encapsulates the raw emotion and sincerity of Mori's feelings for Miss Yukiko. It’s a beautiful portrayal of love that transcends appearances and preconceived notions. If you adored the unique character dynamic and heartwarming feels of 'Love's in Sight!' and are looking for more romance with depth, I highly recommend 'A Sign of Affection' (Yubisaki to Renren). It also features a main character with a sensory impairment and a beautiful, tender love story. For those who appreciate the 'golden retriever boy' trope or stories where characters grow together, check out classics like 'Fruits Basket' for its deep emotional journey and character development. And if you're exploring beyond manga, the world of romance manhwa is vast! Many series offer similar charming characters and compelling plots, perfect for binge-reading. Consider webtoons like 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim' for a delightful office romance or 'The Villainess Is a Marionette' if you enjoy fantasy romance with strong leads. These can offer a similar blend of heartwarming romance and engaging narratives that keep you hooked. Overall, 'Love's in Sight!' is more than just a cute romance; it's a story about acceptance, growing together, and finding your place in someone else's life. It's truly a series that stays with you long after you've finished the last page of the two volumes I've read. I'm already eagerly anticipating picking up the rest of the completed 8-volume series!
