an A-list josei romance

Title: Takahashi from the Bike Shop (vol. 2)

Creator: Arare Matsumushi

📄 Plot: Tomo and Ryou are officially dating, and just as things seem to be settling well, tragedy strikes. (I won't spoil it, but iykyk 🐶) Ryou doesn't hesitate to support Panko in her time of need; driving her home to Tokyo to take care of things. Before they go find a room for the night, Ryou runs into his estranged father and is left exhausted both mentally & physically, giving Tomo the opportunity to support him in return.

📖 Genre: Romance (Josei)

📄 My Favorite Quotes: I just love how Ryou keeps reiterating that they are, in fact, dating, after Panko tells his friend she isn't sure what their relationship was.

💭 My Thoughts: I LOOOOOOVE this series so much! This volume had me bawling like a baby, so much happens, and they get to explore some tougher emotions with each other there for support. I want to know more about Ryou's childhood, and I like that Panko and her mom got to have a real talk. But that scene where she didn't even have to ask him to come get her, and he was already grabbing his keys...

I wasn’t expecting the emotional hit in book two. But I absolutely adore this series.
